The article I annotated was  Building emotional literacy: groundwork to early learning. It helped to annotate because it helped me understand the article and how I could use it. I annotated a section in the article that explained why emotions literacy is important.and why building emotional intelligence at a young age is more beneficial. To process this article I will need to read it another time just in case I missed any crucial information.

Practice systemic application of citation conventions. I have learned this learning objective by being introduced to the APA format of citing my sources. I have developed most in this arena so far but I still need to work on not missing little details like italicizing.
