The relationship between my research essay and my MMT is that they both include information on how emotional literacy is important and how to build this literacy. The rhetorical situation for my research essay is for someone who wants to see why emotional literacy is important and it benefits but in my MMT it’s more to show the development of emotional literacy throughout life and how it changes.  

Something that I have learned that has proven most useful to my composition process is the outline. The outline was useful because it helped me lay out all of my ideas and what I wanted to do. The outline was my guide for when I had to write the actual essay.
